Notes:
Alexander was of Ampertaine House, Upperlands, Maghera, county Londonderry. He was a Justice of the Peace of county of Londonderry in 1912 and chairman of William Clark & Sons Ltd from 1913 until 1937. Alexander was appointed Deputy Lieutenant of county Londonderry in 1918 and High Sheriff of county Londonderry on 4 January 1922 (Belfast Gazette 6 January 1922 p229). He was a member of the Advisory Committee of the Ulster Bank Ltd in Belfast.

George held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Londonderry. He was member of the Council Irish Linen Trade Association and was a director of William Clark & Sons Ltd. He lived at Carnabane, Upperlands, county Londonderry.
