A statue of St Lawrence was placed in the North Chancel of the church in memory of Walter.
The inscription reads:
This figure of St Lawrence excavated at Bardney Abbey 1910 was restored and placed in the church in loving memory of WALTER THOMAS FRENCH M.A. Vicar of this parish 1918-1930. R.I.P.
