Married (1st): Maude Dora Gertrude Baird on 17 April 1892 in Capel-Le-Ferne, Kent, England

Married (2nd): Emily Harriett Jemima Baird on 1 February 1908 in St George Hanover Square district, London, England. Emily was Maude's older sister.

Death: 12 September 1932 in Eastry district, Kent, England aged 72

Notes: Henry became the 20th Baron FitzWalter on 30 September 1924 by a writ of Parliament. The title had been in abeyance for one hundred and sixty eight years since the death without heirs of the 19th Baron in 1756. When Henry died, without heirs, in 1932, the title again went into abeyance which was temrinated in 1953 by Fitwalter Brook Plumptre, the 21st Baron FitzWalter.

Petition of Henry FitzWalter Plumptre of Goodnestone Park, Canterbury, in the County of Kent, claiming to be Baron FitzWalter in the Peerage of England or in the alternative a co-heir to the Barony of FitzWalter, to His Majesty, praying that His Majesty will be graciously pleased to direct the issue of a Writ of Summons to His Majesty's High Court of Parliament addressed to the Petitioner in the said Barony of FitzWalter, and if, and so far as it may be necessary, that His Majesty will be graciously pleased thereby to determine in favour of the said Henry FitzWalter Plumptre the Petitioner, the abeyance if any abeyane exists: together with His Majesty's reference thereof to this House and the report of the Attorney-General thereon thereunto annexed: Presented (by Command): read, and referred to the Committee for Privileges to consider and report.

Henry was also Justice of the Peace for Kent and County Alderman for Kent.
