George moved to South Dakota in 1896/7.
The Idaho Death records contain an entry for a George W. Burnswho
died about 15 January 1912, in Boise, Idaho. This
record also contains the interesting information that George was buried
on 28 March 1912, in Evansville, Wisconsin which seems to tie him
closely to
this Burns family. This is possibly the death record for
George, and Thomas William Argue just got a few details wrong
(1915 v. 1912, Montana v. Idaho). However the death record does show
George's age at death as 40 which is a couple of years off, the name is
relatively common, and I have not seen our George with a middle initial
of 'W' in any other records, so I am not convinced of it.
