Mary Ann Blewitt. Mary Ann was a bookkeeper. She died on 7 June 1929, st 26
Mitchell Road, Durban, aged 86. The cause of death is listed as arterio
sclerosis, valvular incompetence of heart and rheumatism. She was buried in
the West Street cemetery, Durban. Mary Ann's will can be found at Pietermaritzburg

Occupation: Ironmonger. In 1908 John applied
for a patent for an "Improved dry pulverizing ore mill for gold quartz and
other ores", although this application was withdrawn. On his death
certificate in 1925, John's occupation is listed as "Clerk Retired" in the
