Andersson Family

Anders Andersson

Birth: 20 October 1768, at Sandwik (Sandvik), Ludgo, Södermanland, Sweden

Baptism: 23 October 1768, in Ludgo, Södermanland, Sweden

Father: Anders Persson

Mother: Anna Persdotter

Death: 20 January 1773, at Sandwik (Sandvik), Ludgo, Södermanland, Sweden, of smallpox (koppor)

Burial: 24 January 1773, in Ludgo, Södermanland, Sweden

Notes: The death record names Anders as Anders Petersson rather than using the true patronymic Andersson. The record is definitely for the correct child - the death note is also made in the Husförhörslängd, and the father was definitely Anders as seen in the birth record. I guess that either the record, or its transcription, is in error, or the family used the Pehrsson name, maybe because they continued to live on Sandvik, owned by Anna's father Pehr.

Unnamed Andersson

Birth: 17 December 1771, at Sandwik (Sandvik), Ludgo, Södermanland, Sweden

Father: Anders Persson

Mother: Anna Persdotter

Death: 17 December 1771, at Sandwik (Sandvik), Ludgo, Södermanland, Sweden. The child was stillborn (dödfodt gossebarn).

Buried: A funeral service  (jordfästes) was held on 21 December 1771. The child may have been buried in an orphan's grave, although this is odd since the parents were both still living. The note on the birth record reads "dödfodt gossebarn; d 21 dec jordfästes i föräldrarnas graf" which roughly translates to "stillborn boy; funeral service read on 21 Dec. in the orphans' grave"
