- Axel Edvard (1852 - 1853)
Axel was born on 10 April 1852 in Runtuna parish, Södermanland, and baptised
there on 15 April, the illigitimate son of Anna Helena Andersotter. The
records surrounding the birth are slightly confusing - Axel's birth and
baptism are recorded in the Västra Vingåker Födelse- och dopböcker in the
regular manner but the birth and baptism is also recorded in a note in the
Runtuna Födelse- och dopböcker. The Västra Vingåker Husförhörslängd names
Axel's birthplace as Runtuna. My assessment is that Axel was actually born
in Runtuna, probably at Ekeby where Anna's parents lived, but that records
were also kept in Västra Vingåker where Anna was officially resident at
Spånga Qvarn. Axel's Runtuna
birth record mentions the miller (mjölnare)
at Anna's residence at Spånga Qvarn, Carl Gustaf Johansson, but I cannot
decipher enough of the Swedish to know if he is directly named as the
father. At this time Anna's parents, Anders Persson and Anna Lovisa Lundman,
were living at Ekeby in Runtuna, and the foreman at Ekeby was one of the
witnesses at Axel's baptism, so likely Anna had her child at Ekeby or
nearby. On 14 December of 1852, Anna and Axel are recorded as leaving Västra
Vingåker with a destination of Runtuna, but she does not appear to have
registered there and on 10 June 1853 the two returned to Spånga Qvarn where
she is recorded as having come from "not written" (icke
skrifven). Axel died on 29 September 1853 in Runtuna parish, and
was buried there. Again the official record is in the Västra Vingåker parish
records with the Västra Vingåker Husförhörslängd naming the place of death
and burial as Runtuna.

Emanuel
Larsson on 1 July 1856 in Västra Vingåker, Södermanland, Sweden
Emanuel Larsson is recorded as a a foreman (rättaren)
and Anna Helena Andersdotter is recorded as a servant (piga).
They are both resident at Söderspånga. The marriage was witnessed by Anders
Persson and his wife Anna Lovisa Lundman of Ekeby, Runtuna parish (Anna's
parents).
Anna was born in 1823 at Grundshammar
in Lästringe parish, Södermanland where her father worked as a farmhand (statdrängen). In 1825 she moved with
her parents to Gärdesta, also in Lästringe parish. In 1828 the family moved
to Stora Näs back in Ludgo parish and in 1831 they moved to Sophiælund. In
1835 her father became a tenant farmer (torpare)
at Charlottenlund in Ludgo parish where the family lived for six years. In
1840 Anna moved from the family home to Björnlunda parish, then in 1842 she
moved to Drämsta back in Lästringe parish where she worked as a servant (piga), then back to her parent's home
in Säby in Svärta parish in 1843. From 1844 to 1846 she worked as a piga
at Wreta Kåplansgard in Svärta, then in 1846 she moved to Svansta Norrgard
in Helgona parish, Södermanland. In 1848 Anna moved to Tredje kvartet No. 54
& 55 in Nyköping Västra parish and in 1850 she moved to Spånga Qvarn in
Västra Vingåker parish, still employed as a piga.
On 10 April 1852 Anna gave birth to an illegitimate son, Axel Edvard in
Runtuna parish. Axel's
birth record mentions the miller (mjölnare)
at Spånga Qvarn, Carl Gustaf Johansson, but I cannot decipher enough of the
Swedish to know if he is directly named as the father. At this time Anna's
parents, Anders Persson and Anna Lovisa Lundman, were living at Ekeby in
Runtuna, and the foreman at Ekeby was one of the witnesses at Axel's
baptism. On 14 December of 1852, Anna and Axel are recorded as leaving

have registered there and on 10 June 1853 the two returned to Spånga Qvarn
where she is recorded as having come from "not written" (icke
skrifven). Axel died
on 29 September 1853 in Runtuna, and he was buried there. In 1855 Anna
moved to Söderspånga, also in Västra Vingåker parish and on 1 July 1856 she
married Emanuel Larsson who was a foreman (rättaren)
there. They had a daughter in 1857 and in 1858 they moved to Läppe where
they had three more children. The family remained at Läppe until 1865 when
they moved to Uggelboda and then to Lunda Grindstugan in 1868 and Lunda
Frälse in 1870. Anna died at Lunda Frälse on 23 November 1872, of
tuberculosis, aged 48.

Banns were obtained on 15 October. Anders Runman is recorded as a båtsman,
born in 1841, resident at Österberga. Carolina Charl. Andersdr. is recorded
as born in 1841, resident at Runtunaby. She has a child, A. F. Ands.
Carolina Charlotta was born on 3
April 1840 at Charlottenlund, Ludgo parish, Södermanland where her father
was a tenant farmer (torpare). In
1841 the family moved to Säby in Svärta parish and in 1846 they moved to
Husby, also in Svärta parish, then to Ekeby in Runtuna parish in 1847. In
1856 Carolina moved away from home to work as a servant (piga)
at Myra where her elder brother Pehr also worked. In December 1859 Carolina
had a son, Carl Alfred, who was born in Lästringe parish (possibly at Lilla
Längsjötorp where her mother had grown up and her elder sister Maria now
lived) and in 1860 Carolina and Carl moved to Ährsta, also in Runtuna
parish. Living at Ährsta at the time was Anna Maria Ersdotter who was to
marry Carolina's brother, Pehr in 1863. Carolina and Carl moved to

"housed servant" (inh[yses] piga).
A båtsmanstorp is housing provided by a "ward" (rote)
to a navy seaman, and Carolina was a servant to Johan Wilhelm Runman, the båtsman No. 81, who lived there
with his wife and four children. Carolina had a second child, Johan Fredrik
in 1862, and then lost her first child, Carl, who died in 1863 from whooping
cough (kikhosta). In 1865 Carolina
and Johan moved to Runtunaby where she continued to work as a servant.
Carolina married Anders Runman on 25 November 1866.

Anders was the new båtsman living
at Österberga båtsmanstorp, so Carolina moved back to the same residence
where she had earlier worked as a servant, now as the wife of the båtsman.
Anders's surname is the military name given to him and does not mean he was
related to the previous båtsman at
Österberga båtsmanstorp, Johan Runman. Carolina's widowed mother, Anna
Lovisa Lundman, also moved in to Österberga båtsmanstorp with the newly
married couple. Carolina and Johan lived at Österberga Båtsmanstorp for 33
years, until 1899, raising eight more children there. Carolina's mother died
in 1891. In 1899 Anders retired and he and Carolina moved to Kesta in
Runtuna parish where their son, Karl lived, and then, in 1900, to
Brolötstorp l. Norshammar in Svärta parish where one of their daughters,
Amanda, lived. At this time, Carolina (or Karolina as it was then spelled)
is listed with the surname Andersson rather than Andersdotter. Amanda and
her husband moved back to Runtuna parish in 1901 and Anders and Carolina did
as well, though not to the same place - they moved to the poorhouse (fattighus)
in Runtuna where Anders died in 1902. By 1906, Karolina is listed as the
manager (förestånderska) of the
fattighus, a postion she held until her death in Nyköping on 10 November
1916. The cause of death is listed as stomach cancer.

Johan August Johansson on 18
October 1890 in Lästringe, Södermanland, Sweden
Banns were read on 21 September, 28 September and 3 October. Johan August
Johansson is recorded as born on 13 March 1861. He is a farmhand (dräng),
resident at Ekeslöt in Lästringe parish. Edla Augusta Andersson is recorded
as born on 27 November 1867. She is a servant (piga)
resident at Lilla Långsjötorp.
Johan August Johansson was born on 13 March 1861 at Gustafslund in Lid
parish, Södermanland and baptised in Lid on 19 March 1861, the son of torpare Johan Carlsson and Brita Stina
Andersdotter. Something occurred to Johan Carlsson at Gustafslund in 1863
about which there is a long note in the Husförhörslängd that I cannot
understand and in 1864 the family moved to Ängstugan where Johan is listed
as "housed" (inh[yses]) rather than
working and in 1866 they are recorded in the Husförhörslängd as being
without residence (utan hemvist).
This designation continued for Johan Carlsson and Brita until 1878 when they
moved to Lindsberg, Johan showing as the torpare,
but Johan August moved away from home in 1876, going to Öhrsta No. 3 where
he worked as a farmhand (dräng).
Johan moved often, working as a dräng,
going to Stora Stenbrosäter in Ludgo parish in 1877, Bogstorp in Ripsa
parish in 1878, Nybergsäng in 1881, Hällsta in Björnlunda parish in 1882,
Liden back in Ripsa in 1883, then Kölsätter in 1884 and back to Öhrsta No. 3
in Lid parish in 1885. In 1886 Johan went to Stora Björndal No. 1 in
Tystberga parish and then to Grindstugan in Lästringe parish in 1887 and
Ekeslöt also in Lästringe in 1888. He married Edla Augusta Andersson from
the next-door farm Lilla Långsjötorp on 18 October 1890 in Lästringe and the
couple moved to Estlöth in Sättersta parish. A son, Gustaf was born at
Estlöth in 1891 and later that year the family moved to Mosstena in Bälinge
parish and in 1893, now with two children, they moved to Kappsta in Lid
parish. Johan became ill with kidney disease and his designation was changed
from farmhand (statdräng) to [in]hys[es], or "housed" indicating he
was no longer able to work. In February 1895 the family moved back to
Bälinge parish where they are recorded as being on the welfare of the parish
(på socken) and Johan died on 7
March 1895 of kidney disease (ägghitsjukdom).
He was buried in Bälinge on 17 March 1895.

Carl Johan Lundberg on 28
March 1897
Carl Johan was born on 10 May 1859 at Factoriet in Nyköping Västra parish,
Södermanland, and baptised in Nyköping Västra on 17 May the son of drängen
Johan Waldeman Lundberg and Anna Sophia Andersdotter. In October
1859 the family moved to No. 20 5th Qvarteret in Nyköping Östra parish,
where Johan worked as a blacksmith (smedhand)
then to No. 15, 4th Qvarteret in 1860, No 26, 27, 28 Första Qvarteret in
Nyköping Västra parish in 1863 and No. 34-34½ 4th Qvarteret back in Nyköping
Östra parish in 1864. In 1865, in a reverse of the general urbanization
trend, Johan and family moved to Runtuna parish where Johan became a tenant
farmer (torpare) at Rosenkällen. The family moved to Dahlsätter in Ripsa
parish in 1868, where nine year old Carl finally got some stability. He
lived there with his parents until 1879 when he moved away from his parents'
home, to Holmby. Carl married Johanna Christina Nyström, who also worked at
Holmby, on 28 August 1880, and the couple moved to Wärmastugan where Carl is
listed as a labourer (arb[ets]k[arl]).
Johanna had had a daughter, Ida, shortly before her marriage - Ida was born
on 19 June 1880. In 1881 the family moved back to Carl's parent's home at
Dalsätter and then to Hvitmossen in 1882 where they added Carl Anton and
Johan Edvin to the family. The family moved back to Dalsätter in 1891,
probably because Carl's father was ill. Carl is listed as the torpare
at Dalsätter and his father is "housed" (inhys[es])
and he died the following year of breast cancer. Carl's mother conyinued to
live with them at Dalsätter. Carl's wife, Johanna, died in 1895 and he
married Edla Augusta Andersson, a widow with two children, on 28 March 1897.
Carl and Edla had a daughter, Elsa, born on 28 February 1897, between the
time that Edla moved to Ripsa and their marriage in March, and then two more
children born in the new century. The children grew up at Dalsätter and
Carl's designation changed from torpare to
arrendator reflecting the move to a
more modern tenant farming system based on a cash lease rather than paying
rent in a number of day's work. In 1907, Carl and Edla fostered Anna Cecilia
Lundman who was born on 18 May 1893 and came to them from Spelvik parish in
November 1907. Anna returned to Spelvik in 1908. In 1926 Johan and Edla
retired and went to live at Hvitmassen where Johan had lived for ten years
before returning to Dalsätter. Johan died the next year, on 25 November
1927.

Edla Augusta was born on 27 November
1867, at Österberga Båtsmanstorp in Runtuna parish, Södermanland, where her
father was the båtsman and lived
there with her family until 1882 when she moved to Lilla Långsjötorp in
Lästringe parish, where she worked as a servant (piga)
on the farm of her aunt Maja Kajsa Andersdotter. On 18 October 1890 Edla
married Johan August Johansson who worked on the next-door farm Ekeslöt and
the couple moved to Estlöth in Sättersta parish. Around this time Edla's
surname started to be recorded as Andersson rather than Andersdotter. A son,
Gustaf was born at Estlöth in 1891 and later that year the family moved to
Mosstena in Bälinge parish and in 1893, now with two children, they moved to
Kappsta in Lid parish. Johan became ill with kidney disease and his
designation was changed from farmhand (statdräng)
to [in]hys[es], or "housed"
indicating he was no longer able to work. In February 1895 the family moved
back to Bälinge parish where they are recorded as being on the welfare of
the parish (på socken) and Johan
died in March of that year. Edla and her two young children remained in the
care of Bälinge parish until January 1897 when they moved to Ripsa parish
and Edla married Carl Johan Lundberg, a widowed torpare
at Dalsätter, on 28 March 1897. Carl had lived at Dalsätter since
1891, and his first wife, Johanna, had died in 1895, leaving him with three
children ranging in age from eight to fifteen. Carl and Edla had a daughter,
Elsa, born on 28 February 1897, between the time that Edla moved to Ripsa
and their marriage in March, and then two more children born in the new
century. The children grew up at Dalsätter, Carl's designation changed from
torpare to arrendator
reflecting move to a more modern tenant farming system based on a cash lease
rather than paying rent in a number of day's work, and Edla's surname is
changed to Runman, her late father's surname although she had not used it
until then. In 1907, Carl and Edla fostered Anna Cecilia Lundman who was
born on 18 May 1893 and came to them from Spelvik parish in November 1907.
Anna returned to Spelvik in 1908. Then in 1914 Carl and Edla fostered Edla's
eleven year old niece, Magda Amalia who had been orphaned in 1912, and had
been living with another aunt, Gerda, since then. Magda lived at Dalsätter
until 1920. In 1926 Johan and Edla retired and went to live at Hvitmassen
where Johan died the next year. In widowhood Edla now took the surname
Lundberg, and moved to Holmby in 1928 and was still living there in 1936.

Johanna was born on 12 September 1826
at Gärdesta in Lästringe parish, Södermanland where her father worked as a
foreman (rätt[are]). She was the
twin sister of Sofia Lovisa Andersdotter. In 1828
the family moved to Stora Näs in Ludgo parish and in 1831 they moved to
Sophiælund. In 1835 her father became a tenant farmer (torpare)
at Charlottenlund in Ludgo parish where the family lived for six years. In
1840 Johanna moved to her grandparents' farm at Långsjötorp back in
Lästringe parish (Pehr Jansson and Cathrina Jansdotter were the foster
parents of Johanna's mother, Anna Lovisa Lundgren, and had also fostered
Johanna's elder sister, Maria, in 1827. Maria was still living at
Långsjötorp in when Johanna came there). Johanna is listed as a maid-servant
(tjensteflicka) at Långsjötorp. In
1841 Johanna moved to Ahlsätter, also in Lästringe parish where she worked
as a servant (piga), and in 1842
she moved back with her parents who were now living at Säby in Svärta
parish. Johaanna moved to Wäsby in Svärta in 1843, working as a piga,
then to Storhus Qvarn in Nyköpings Västra parish in 1845. In 1846 Johanna
returned to Lilla Långsjötorp where her grandmother had since died and her
grandfather was retired, while Maria and her husband Pehr operated the farm.
Johanna worked there as a piga
until 1847 when she moved to Långhagen in Vagnhärad parish, then to
Klockaregården in Vagnhärad 1848 and Klockaregården in Trosa stadsförsamling
in 1851. In 1853 Johanna moved back to Nyköpings Västra, living at No. 25,
Första Qvarteret until 1855 then Nos. 5, 6 & 7, Första Qvarteret until
1856, all the while working as a piga.
In 1856 Johanna moved out of Nyköpings Västra, but I cannot decipher the
destination. In 1860, Johanna was a witness at the baptism of her
nephew, Carl Alfred, son of her younger sister, Carolina, at which time she
is recorded as living in Stockholm.

Both are from Längsjötorp.
Anders Fredrik Persson on 30
December 1858 in Lästringe, Södermanland, Sweden
Anders Fredrik Persson is recorded as a torpare,
aged 28, and Maja Cajsa Andersdotter is recorded as a widow (enka),
aged 36, from Lilla Långsjötorp.
Anders was born on 26 November 1829 at Sörtuna, Västerljung, Södermanland
and baptised on 28 November the son of Anna Catharina Andersdotter. His
father, Pehr Olsson had been the farmer (bondare) at Sörtuna until he died
on 29 June 1829, five months before Anders' birth. The family remained at
Sörtuna until 1837 when they moved to Tuna Storstugan until 1840 when Anders
and his mother moved back to Sörtuna, or Södertuna. In 1846 Anders left his
mother's home, going to Stockvik in Vagnhärad parish where he worked as a
farmhand (dräng), then moving to
Hokeberga in 1847 where he is listed as a servant (tjenstare).
In 1848 Anders moved to Trosa parish where he appears to have stayed until
1857 when we pick up his trail moving from Trosa to Luthebol in Vagnhärad
parish where he worked as a dräng. In
1858 Anders married the recently widowed Maja Cajsa Andersdotter of Lilla
Längsjötorp in Lästringe parish, and he became the torpare
there. Maja's son, Carl, died in 1861. Anders and Maja farmed at Lilla
Längsjötorp until Anders retired in 1895. In 1869, Anders and Maria fostered
her 15-year old nephew, Alfred Hjalmar
Andersson who was the son of Maria's sister, Sophia
Lovisa Andersdotter. Alfred took the surname Ahlberg in 1879 and lived
at Lilla Längsjötorp until 1880 when he enrolled at the Södermanland County
Agricultural School at Väderbrunn in Bergshammar parish. He eventually
emigrated to the United States in 1896 to join his mother and her new
husband there. Anders and Maja continued to farm at Lilla Längsjötorp until
Anders retired in the early 1890's. They remained on the farm until their
deaths - Maja died in 1905 and Anders died on 22 February 1907. The cause of
his death is listed as old age insanity (ålderdoms
skrögslighet). Anders was buried in Lästringe on 1 March 1907.

Maria was born in 1822 at Längsjötorp
in Lästringe parish, Södermanland, the home of mother's parents. The next
year she moved with her parents to the nearby farm of Grundshammar and in
1825 to Gärdesta, also in Lästringe parish. In 1827, Maria went back to her
grandparent's home at Längsjötorp where she remained even when her parents
moved away to Stora Näs in Ludgo parish. At Längsjötorp Maria is listed as
the foster daughter (fosterdotter)
of Pehr Jansson and Cathrina Jansdotter, who had also fostered her mother,
Ann Lovisa Lundman. In some records, Maria is recorded as "M. Cath.
Andersdr", so perhaps she used the name Catherina rather than Maria. In 1840
one of Maria's sisters, Johanna Christina, came to Längsjötorp for a year.
In 1844 her foster mother, Cathrina died. On 1 January 1846 Maria married
Lars Petter Larsson, who had been a farmhand (dräng)
on Längsjötorp since 1838. Her grandfather Pehr retired and Lars became the
tenant famer (torpare) at Lilla
Längsjötorp. Pehr died in 1847 and Maria was widowed when Lars died in 1855.
Maria then married Anders Fredrik Persson in 1858 and Anders became the torpare at Lilla Längsjötorp. In 1860,
Maria and Anders were witnesses at the baptism of her nephew, Carl Alfred,
son of her sister Carolina, in Runtuna parish. Carl had been born on 31
December 1859 in Lästringe parish, quite possibly at Längsjötorp. Maria's
only child, Carl, died in 1861. In 1869, Anders and Maria fostered her
15-year old nephew, Alfred Hjalmar
Andersson who was the son of Maria's sister, Sophia
Lovisa Andersdotter. Alfred took the surname Ahlberg in 1879 and lived
at Lilla Längsjötorp until 1880 when he enrolled at the Södermanland County

Johan Petter Kjellen on 8 November
1872 in Skövde stadsförsamling, Skaraborg, Sweden
Banns were read on 20 October. Johan Petter Kjellen is recorded as a
journeyman tanner (garfv[are] ges[äll]),
born in 1833 and resident at F. No. 33. Soffia Lovia Andersson is recorded
as born in 1826, resident at F. No. 11.
Johan was born Johan Petter Andersson on 22 December 1833 at Stora Tholsby
in Kyrkefalla parish, Skaraborg county, and baptised the same day in
Kyrkefalla, the son of Anders Gustaf Svensson and Maria Greta Johansdotter.
He lived with his family at Stora Tholsby until 1853 when he moved to
Assarby Säteri where he worked as a farmhand (dräng)
until 1856 when he moved to Lanna Nordgården in Warola parish. In 1860 Johan
moved to Mariestad, and changed his surname to Kjellen. He lived at No. 42
4th Rote and his occupation is listed as a journeyman tanner (garfv[are]
ges[äll]). In 1861 Johan moved to Rådhus qvartet in Östhammar
parish, Stockholms län, then to Lindormen No. 2 in Uppsala in 1862 and No.
24 1st roten in the town of Skövde back in Skaraborg in 1863. Johan lived at
24 1st roten for nine years, working as a journeyman tanner (garfvare
ges[äll]). In 1872 Johan married Sofia Lovisa Andersdotter on 8
November 1872 moving to live as a couple at No. 19 1st rote in 1873. Thy
moved to No. 78 in 3rd rote in 1876 and then to No. 19 in 1st rote in 1880.
Johan and Sofia emigrated to America in March 1882 where Johan became John.
Although the Husförhörslängd and Flyttningslängder state that both of them
emigrated in 1872, census records in the United States show Johan emigrating
in 1878/9 and Sophia following in 1882, but I have not actually found John
in the 1880 census). John and Sophia had made their way to Leland, Michigan
on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan, by at least April 1896, when they are
recorded living there when Sophia's son, Alfred and his wife and daughter
joined them there.
Leelanau Enterprise 21 May 1896 p1
—A. H.
Ahlberg, wife and daughter of Stockholm, Sweden, arrived on the steamer
Tiger Tuesday evening. Mr. Ahlberg is a son of P. J. Kjellen of this
village.
Sophia and John are in Leland in the 1900 census. The aging couple were
still living in Leland in 1910, and must have eventually patched up an
earlier legal dispute with Alfred and Josephina - they are "boarding" at
Alfred's farm in Garfield township in 1920. John died on 26 January 1921 at
the County Infirmary, Garfield township, Grand Traverse county, Michigan.
The cause of death is listed as senile arterial sclerosis. He was buried on
28 January in Oakwood cemetery, Traverse City, Michigan. The grave is in 2nd

moved to No. 7, Tredje Qvarteret in 1855 and to No. 4, 4th Qvarteret in
Nyköpings Östra parish in 1858, and in 1859 to Nos. 34 and 35 in Andra
Qvarteret back in Nyköpings Västra. In 1860, Sofia and her son moved to
Marieberg in Grödinge parish, Stockholms län, Sofia working as a piga,
then to Stockholm city in 1862. In 1865 Sofia moved from Stockholm to Stora
Husgärdet in Skärv parish, Skaraborg county where she is listed as a
housekeeper (hush[ållerska]), but
Alfred did not make this move with her, and his whereabouts are unclear
until he was fostered by Sophia's elder sister, Maria
Catharina Andersdotter in 1869, and he went to live with her family at
the farm Lilla Längsjötorp in Lästringe, Södermanland. In 1870 Sofia moved
to the town of Skövde in Skaraborg, living at No. 11 in the 1st rote and now
listed as a servant (piga). She
married a tanner, Johan Petter Kjellen in Skövde on 8 November 1872, living
with him at No. 19 1st rote in 1873. The couple moved to No. 78 in 3rd rote
in 1876 and then back to No. 19 in 1st rote in 1880. Johan and Sofia
emigrated to America in March 1882 (although the Husförhörslängd and
Flyttningslängder state that both of them emigrated in 1872, census records
in the United States show Johan emigrating in 1878/9 and Sophia following in
1882, but I have not actually found John in the 1880 census). John and
Sophia had made their way to Leland, Michigan on the eastern shore of Lake
Michigan, by at least April 1896 when they are recorded living there when
Sophia's son, Alfred and his wife and daughter joined them there. Sophia and
John are in Leland in the 1900 census. In 1905 a dispute arose between
Alfred and his mother and stepfather, which resulted in a legal finding in
favor of John and Sophia Kjellen and the seizure and sale of Alfred's
property in Michigan, including his farm in Centerville township.

The aging couple were still living in Leland in 1910, and must have
eventually patched things up with Alfred and Josephina - they are "boarding"
at Alfred's farm in Garfield township in 1920. John died in 1921 and Sophia
followed him on 20 June 1922. They are buried in Oakwood cemetery, Traverse
